An extensible AI platform that orchestrates agentic work from events and actions, with custom workflows unique to Cameron Harrison.
Cameron Harrison is an independent private wealth management firm. We built CHAI, an extensible AI platform that orchestrates agentic work across their practice, driven by the events and actions of the working day, and shaped into custom workflows the firm can extend itself. The first is the investment research their analysts produce every day.
The problem
Cameron Harrison’s analysts hold every investment to a high, consistent standard, reading long company reports and writing each one up against the same set of questions the firm has honed over years.
It is careful, valuable work, but the reading and the writing-up swallow the hours, leaving less time for the judgement only an analyst can bring. And in a regulated business, every conclusion has to be defensible.
What we built
We built CHAI, a shared research platform with an AI assistant at its heart. It reads a company’s latest reports, weighs them against the firm’s own standards, and drafts an analyst-grade write-up, while the analyst reviews, edits and signs off.
The numbers are graded by the same rules every time, so the analyst is freed to weigh the judgement rather than redo the arithmetic.
CHAI is built to keep growing. It connects to AI services through open protocols like MCP, so the newest capabilities plug straight in as the field moves. The platform is never tied to a single tool or vendor.
And it puts that reach in the team’s hands through skills: focused, reusable ways of getting a piece of work done against the firm’s own data. Staff can use them, adapt them and build new ones, then push them back into the platform for everyone. Cameron Harrison’s people can shape the system around new outcomes as they think of them, opening the door to new ways of working, and new value, without waiting on us.
The benefit
Work that once took the better part of a day is ready to review in minutes, giving analysts their time back for the decisions that matter. Every claim is backed by the figure it rests on, so the firm’s standard and its accountability are built in. The platform, and the decisions it supports, stay with Cameron Harrison.
